Based on 30 years experience and a decade of research and clinical observation, Ms. Peoples provided conference attendees practical information and tools to help children become successful in the school and in the community.

This workshop provided an overview of some of the specific learning needs characteristic of students with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities.  It also provided educators with skills to recognize and implement curricular programs that incorporate essential design elements targeting known learning needs.  Attendees were given strategies and practical information to help students succeed.
